DealDash ("we", "us", "our") operates getdealdash.co.uk. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how you can control it. We're a UK-based, pre-launch service, and we take your privacy seriously — this policy will be updated as our product develops.

What we collect today

At this stage, DealDash is in early access / waitlist mode. The data we collect is limited to:

• Email address — when you join our early access waitlist via the signup form on this site. We use this solely to contact you about your early access invitation and product updates. We don't sell or share this with third parties for marketing purposes.
• Date of birth — collected during registration as a security detail, so we can verify your identity if you ever need to recover your account or reset your password.
• Country — collected during registration to confirm eligibility and to show you deals relevant to your region. DealDash currently operates in the UK only, but this field allows us to support additional countries in the future without requiring you to re-register.
• Basic usage data — standard, non-identifying analytics about how visitors use this website (e.g. pages viewed), which helps us improve the site.

Waitlist form processing

Our early access signup form is processed via Formspree, a third-party form-handling service. When you submit your email, it is transmitted securely to Formspree and then to us. You can read Formspree's own privacy practices at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.

Affiliate and cashback links

Once live, DealDash will show you deals from public cashback, voucher and discount networks, and from your own connected employer or membership portals. When you click through to complete a purchase via one of these public deals, your click may be tracked using an affiliate tracking cookie or similar technology, so that the relevant network can attribute your purchase and pay the associated commission. This is standard practice across the cashback and voucher industry — DealDash itself never sees or stores your payment details, and the actual cashback or discount is paid to you directly by the network or retailer you're referred to, not by DealDash.

DealDash does not pay cashback itself. We compare genuine offers from public cashback, voucher and discount networks, and send you directly to them to complete your purchase and earn your reward.

Your employer and membership portals

DealDash lets you save shortcuts to your own employer or membership discount portals (such as Blue Light Card, Edenred, or Reward Gateway) for one-tap access. We do not log into these portals on your behalf, and we do not access, store, or process your account credentials or deal history from these third-party platforms.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to run this website, and — once the affiliate programme is live — tracking cookies from our cashback and voucher network partners when you click through to a deal. We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising profiling.

Your rights (UK GDPR)

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Ask us to correct or delete it
• Withdraw consent (e.g. unsubscribe from waitlist emails) at any time
• Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you believe we've mishandled your data

How we use date of birth and country

Your date of birth is used solely as a security detail to verify your identity if you need to recover your account or reset your password — it is not used for age eligibility checks or shared with third parties. Your country is used to confirm regional eligibility and show you relevant deals, and may be shared with affiliate network partners where required for regional eligibility checks. We retain this data for as long as your account is active, or as required by law.
